Suo Tan was born in Handan, Hebei province. Since 1988 he focused himself entirely on creating sculptures which led to his own sculpture project. Suo Tan' works have been exhibited widely in China and the world and his works are collected by numerous institutions and collectors such as the San Paulo Sculpture Museum in Brazil, the Casata Contemporary Museum in Italy and the Wanshenggu Museum in China. Suo Tan currently lives and works in Beijing.
